Samuel García and Greg Abbot sign agreement to speed up traffic in Puente Colombia

Greg Abbot celebrated said agreement and recognized the state of Nuevo León for its actions to prevent illegal human trafficking.

he governments of Nuevo León and Texas signed a memorandum of understanding to reinforce security in the 14 kilometers that make up the common border, which will help speed up traffic on Puente Colombia.

The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, affirmed that the agreement will favor both states and will prevent the illegal trafficking of people and drugs.

“That is why in Nuevo León yesterday we began a series of checkpoints on our border, to ensure that Governor Greg Abbott will not have any problem with Nuevo León,” said the emecist governor.

Meanwhile, Greg Abbot celebrated said agreement and recognized the state of Nuevo León for its actions to prevent illegal human trafficking.

“Governor Garcia has begun and will continue to strengthen security measures on the Nuevo Leon side of the border to prevent illegal migration,” he said.
